$25000 Scholarship to the Winner of the Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Junior Golf Championship
 The University of Maryland Eastern Shore awards a four year tuition scholarship on Thursday, August 7, for its Professional Golf Management program to the winner of the tenth annual junior golf championship. “We look forward to working with the Sunrise Rotary Club to make this scholarship available on an ongoing basis to those talented and passionate young men and women who are interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree, leading to a career in the business and industry of golf,” said PGM Director Billy Dillon. Sunrise Rotary President Dennis Weller commented that “We’re thrilled to partner with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore to help award this first annual scholarship.
